Sewing program supplies: black/tan/white thread, elastic, crochet hooks, universal machine needles, gift certificates for machine repair

School/office supplies: backpacks, markers, crayons, pencils, pencil sharpener, pens, dry erase markers, chalk, copy paper, stapler
Magnifying “reader” glasses (non-prescription glasses in any strength)
Bus tokens for students to get to and from the center
Movie tickets and gift cards as incentives for youth programming

GLOBE Camp Funding:
$30,000 What does this provide?  80 NEW ARRIVALS the opportunity to learn English, gain school-readiness skills, learn about their community and make new friends!
$10,000 (of the $30,000) enables the youth to go to Overnight Camp at Ebersole Education Center for 4 nights and 5 days: swimming, canoeing, archery, hiking, camp fires, s’mores, etc!

$10,000 Mobile Computer Lab:  How will this be used?  Adult ESOL, Financial Literacy, Youth groups, After-school programs! All around—multi-use product without the need of a bulky computer lab with outdated computers. We can help improve technology skills, financial literacy teaching, presentation skills, citizenship classes, basic academic skills review of math and literacy, etc.

$5,000: ENGLISH Class for fall and spring semesters  (2 classes per week for 20 weeks) There is a HUGE need for expanded ESL programs in our community. The more we offer, the more people attend!

$5,000: Financial Literacy Class for adults to learn basic skills of banking, saving, managing money in a culturally sensitive manner.
